The moment of truth! FYI, the next generation test fixture will expand the rotor diameter 50-100% to increase the mechanical advantage of the rotor magnets over the stator control arm. Currently it’s only 1.67:1 due to unforeseen variance in raceway construction. May not be enough to overcome frictional losses which as you can see are quite substantial.
